My camping trip this year

We went to Itasca again this year with my mom
and dad. my brother danny and sister allie went
too, and so did papa harold, grandma nancy,
uncle nate & his girlfriend martina. here is what
our tents and papa/grandma's looked like:

We got to do a lot of bike riding, a boat ride, fishing for the 1st time with my new Transformers fishing pole.

and every night had smores by the fire.

i love smores!

We saw a lot of trees, some chipmunks and a bear was by the road when we drove around the park.

We also went to the Fire Tower...it was 100ft and we went all the way to top with Uncle nate, martina, daddy and danny. it was a LONG way. The day before we had gone up 108 steps, but not the whole way. it was VERY high!

I loved my camping trip and can't wait for next year, when we will have 6 of us Johnson's, as our new baby will be born by then.

Play ball!

Yes, Tyler has entered the world of sports -- tball is his first foray into team sports.

His team, first named the Reds by the YMCA but subsequently renamed the Hawkeyes by the coach due to his love for the Iowa college, has played from April to June.

It is quite adorable seeing these little girls and guys trying to learn the game, kids not knowing where to run, when to run, or just standing by the edge of the infield smelling a dandelion...ah youth!

Anyhow, it is great fun, Tyler is enjoying himself and likes to learn (from anyone but mom/dad of course). He will likely do another session from July-Aug on Thursday evenings. Hope some of you in town can join us!

Kaitlyn

This is my friend Kaitlyn. We play together all the time at school and try and sit together when ever we can. We had such fun at my house together. There was lots of giggling. I hope we can play together again soon.

math toys

Mom got out her math toys the other day. One puzzle was to fill up the larger shape with small shapes and have nothing left over. I finished it all by myself.

Sarah Bailey is in my sunday school class. She brought her mom and dad and baby brother over to play and have supper.


We made our own pizzas and then played some more.


It was fun, I hope that Sarah comes over again to play!

Dazzle

This is Dazzle. She is one of my favorite toys. She is a Planet Hero. Her planet is Venus. I like to play Dazzle Saves the Day. She fights against Black Hole with her fire blaster.

The zoo

We went to the zoo for Grandma Nancy's birthday. I went much slower than usual because I was busy taking pictures. I am learning how to hold the camera nice and still.
